Bandipora woman with travel history of Maharashtra admitted in Sgr hospital tested negative | KNO

Bandipora, Mar 21 (KNO): A woman from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district with symptoms related to Coronavirus having her travel history from Maharashtra was admitted in isolation ward at chest disease hospital (CD) Srinagar late on Friday evening, however hospital authorities this evening said, she was tested negative for the deadly virus. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a 22-year-old woman (name withheld) who had a travel history of Maharashtra on 03/03/2020, one of the worst hit states in India with at least 50 positive Covid-19 cases, developed some symptoms related to Covid-19 and was immediately referred to Chest disease hospital Srinagar as precautionary measures, where she was quarantined. A senior doctor said that, the patient was with very little symptoms of Coronavirus who has a travel history of Maharashtra and have returned on 03 March has been kept in an isolation ward at CD hospital Srinagar after we refer her there yesterday late evening with proper security. He, however, further said general public must avoid visiting hospital unnecessarily and normal ailments, “We have already given our phone numbers to contact us for any emergency, he said. Chief medical officer(CMO), Bandipora, Tajamul Hussain, told—KNO, that her sample was taken for examination, now this evening it has tested negative for the deadly covid-19 virus, and the patient does not seem to have any serious complication—(KNO)
